A link to the post that details my install. Still going well a couple of hundred thousand KM and 5 years later.

I do have a rear tyre carrier now so access to the spare isn't an issue. The only mods I've needed was to put locknuts on the tiedown turnbuckles so they dont loosen on a trip and I have made up steel straps to hold the fridge down tightened with a couple of turnbuckes as well. I have a half made replacement in Aluminium that I havent had the chance to complete but this setup works so well I'm not very motivated.

    Another Rear Drawer Setup

Mine was done by Drifta and is similar to Jon and others. However, I got them to add a storage box that mounts to the fridge slide via 4 screws and captive nuts in the slide. This creates useful storage for when the fridge is in the camper trailer or just not required for a trip. I'm going to add handles to the box.

The unit also includes a slide-out shelf that converts to a free-standing camping table. When you slide it partially out, it's handy for when packing/unpacking the fridge.

There is room behind for tent and other things when 2nd row seats are raised but I will be adding tie-down points to attach things when 2nd row seats are lowered flat, e.g. extra water.

I also like that the top drawer can be opened without lowering tailgate.

That's a good looking set-up Scott. Have been considering Drifta myself - though will probably not go that way now, as I am about to have by old BOAB set that's in the young bloke's D2 come available when he sells the Disco and replaces it with an Amorok.

A couple of small alterations to the BOAB set-up and it should do what I need in the D4.
    Cheers .........

I saw a photo somewhere of a stove bracket that hung off a RW Carrier.
Decided it was a great idea meaning I would not need to move the stove to either get into my drawers.

Simply made of 12mm ply and folds up flat:

Tailgate can be closed with the stove left in position, fridge fully extends out and drawers slide out under too.

A clamp holds it in place, the ply cantilevers out with a support under.
Slots in the ply stop to stove moving. Simple.

If you really want heaps of room, I've done a few D3's where I have removed the second row of seats and fitted a flat floor.
