They look really good!
Hi all, thought I would post a couple of pics of my sliders.
3mm Yard section for the step and had some 3mm sheet cut and bent for the sill section.
I have some ally checker plate for the tops to go on as soon as the anti chip paint dries.
Very strong and not too heavy. I can jack the car from any point now.
Cheers

I like the look of them Strangy - using yard section is different to anything I've seen so far.
But how are you mounting them - do they bolt directly to the sills ?
Mine are bolted to the chassis outriggers rather than the body, and do not come into contact with the body at all. I still have the original LR plastic trim on the sills.

These are mounted to the sill. They are almost a full box section around the original sill section. Similar to most others.
Each slider has 9 x 8mm nutserts on the outside and 8 on the inside, hold it all very snug.
cheers
Hey Strangy
Your sliders do look really good ...I'd say they would look even better on my D2 though
Ever thought of making a few extra sets in your spare time?
Just a passing thought...
cheers,
Terry
