    Got my new Dobson Springs

I'm surprised there is such a differance between the left and right springs.

Picked them up on the Postie. Small load really. The most it's had was a 9 kg gas bottle in the crate and 20kg of dog food on top.

Hopfully it will stop this happening. This is the height it's currently sitting at.

And here I was not wanting to get too much height. I only went 2" because I want to fit Bilstien 7100 shocks.

I'm currntly (pre-install) measuring 470mm from hub centre to flare.

    Happy Days.

    Thanks mate.

I try and keep it well. The exhaust is a problem ATM. You might see the 4 holes in the muffler part, they are supposed to be threaded bungs for the chrome guard to attach to but they have broken around the welds.

    Happy Days.

The height difference in the springs has me interested. As I fitted a spring to my Disco today and they are both the same height. Which in my case isnt good as its actually 5mm lower than the sagged springs that are already in it. Even though the free length is actually 50mm taller than the factory coil. Which to me look like a factory springs.
Wish I had just brought them off the net like everything else. Just for information. My bump stop clearance is 40mm with the current faulty coil.

I'm guessing you mean springs (plural) and not spring?

I think the rears are the same height, either side. Are yours front or rear?

    What brand did you get?

I bought mine through a local supplier, here in Darwin. It was cheaper than online. I walked in, gave him the P/Number and paid cash upfront. Probably took less than 5 minutes of his time. I'm happy to buy local if they are willing to compete with online prices or able to add some sort of value.

    Happy Days.

We also went with the 2" (advertised as 45mm I think). I think dads springs were that shagged, they were probably down 2" to start with. She wasn't far off the bump stops

Well I hope there not rear. As I had a discussion with the sales guy about how much I liked the airbags.
Well yer I brought springs. But only fitted one. Not bothering with the other one. But have arranged to swap them for the correct ones. As the place I brought them has been good about it.

Are Disco2 springs different diameter front to rear? As Patrol/landcruisers.
As these things looked the same except there free height was about 50mm taller than the spring they are replacing.

Sorry for the hijack. But I am jealous of the postie bike.
