They're great flares, took me about 1 and a half days to fit.

Hey Boxer what takes so long to do the flares. It is something i would like to do in the future.

Worth taking the time to line everything up nicely and cut it neatly, then there's quite a bit of time in fixing up the rear doors after you cut them. If I had to do it again I'd use fresh sheet metal and folder.

These are the ABS plastic flares, not the fibreglass flares sold here. They are certainly tough - so should be able to take a beating and allow a fit more flex on the front wheels at full lock.

My trip up and down our pipeline route last weekend ( 2000km - 90% on dirt roads or just straight through the bush) on some very rough and muddy sections showed the benefits of fitting flares - the Nissan Patrol that went with us had only a little bit of mud on the bottom half of the doors, I had mud so thick on the doors that it fell off in chunks.

With my 2" lift and 265/75 tyres these flares should do quite nicely.

The exchange rate to the UK is great - got a set of injectors on order - delivered for $370.

Nice! They make it look very purposeful. The visible screw fittings contribute to the macho appearance coupled with the tyres.
