Thread: uploading pictures

Upload your pic to ImageShack® - Online Media Hosting.
Copy the "direct Link".
In AULRO, open a thread or post.
Paste the "direct Link" into the AULRO "Insert Image" message tool.
That's it.

You can substitute Imageshack for any other online image site like Flickr, etc.

I have also tried your instructions yet the image came as an attached thumbnail and not open in the text area.

Any helpful trick?

probably best to leave it as an attatched thumbnail, that way its not overloading anyones servers nor making the page any slower to load

after you have created a reply,
but BEFORE posting it,
scroll down the page to MANAGE ATTACHMENTS.

this allows you to add pics STRAIGHT FROM YOUR PC.
ok?

adding as attachments is easiest.
You do have your own gallery to add pics to,,
these can then be added to posts as full size pics

How to post pictures (as a full photo in the post)

Navigate to where your image is stored (Flikr, photobucket etc)

copy the direct link info (this example is photobucket)


Create your post

then click the add picture button




paste in the link and OK



Your pic should now appear in the preview

I have tried following all your methods they have worked in the past, but have taken up to 30 minutes for the photo to upload.
This was done in seconds using tapatalk from my iPhone.

In Bushie's post above: under his first red arrow there is another box with Image Code next to it, if you copy this code and past it straight into your text when you are posting that does the same thing and skips all of bushie's other steps.

All the clicking on the add image button does is add the [img] brackets at the end and beginning of the file name.
