    Main road in Zaire (congo ) 1980s in a Series 2a

    First time at uploading a old scanned photos from a African overland I did in the 1980s
    Hopefully in the right place if not please advise as I have a couple more to post, should it be under my deefers?

    Yep very muddy,was about 1500 -2000km overall like that,took about 3 weeks
    some days only 2 kms!!!, came back and joined the Landrover club and a olderguy looked down his nose at the young pup (me)asked me if I had had any experience at driving in mud!!! replied I had a little. mud was like that sticky clay that turns into mud and sticks like something..... to a blanket

    couple more African Mud driving photos

    some Mud driving in 1980s Zaire and a ferry crossing on one of the many rivers
    1964 series 2a Landrover went from London to south Africa and back London down the west coast of Africa and up the east side on the way back
    Sorry i am not good at this uploading click on the photos
