6x6 110 Pics and info Wanted

Ok, i've been scouring the net and the forums for what I can find, but I wanted to ask for more

I'm putting together a page about civilian 6x6 land rover 110 vehicles that were built as a part of REMLR, being as they were developed hand in hand. As there was probably less than 100 left, I might keep a list as well, btu I wanted to collect what photos are out there, and any info on users, current owners etc etc.

So if you have anything that could help, please let me know

From an au ebay ad, the crane was for sale not the vehicle. No other information recorded or remembered.

I dare say that a lot of information will be along fairly soon. The only information I have comes from working on a couple of the civilian versions,re transfercase issues stemming from the taper roller intermediate gear conversion. My overall impression from test drives and from an engineering perspective is that they were a fairly ordinary piece of kit, and not a real crosscountry vehicle.

isuzutoo-eh, was that unit in Australia? Looks a it different, but maybe it's just the tyres and rims. I don't have that review, I would love that, thankyou.

Isuzurover, no, I don't have that. The wide track is necessetated by the rear chassis, there was never any narrow rear track. that red one is a myster, I have that pic also, but it looks like a wide font axle, rather than a narrow rear. However it may be a foley, sandringham or home made job. That last one is a unit that I saw in teh flesh down here with it's fire fighting gear removed. in fact the gear on the tray is probably still where I saw it last.

Anybody who has Vin's, they would be appreciated as well.

I reckon I know that vehicle, where it is and it's current owner!

BTW it's a cherry picker not a crane.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I have that red one too, photos taken at Cooma 1998.

I also know that Jindera RFB has a fire truck one too, but have been trying to get photos of it for a long time.

I thought that cherry picker looked familiar. We'll go with not an Australian built vehicle then

Easo, can I use those pics (and remind me of your real name)? Definitely a factory unit from the chassis, but it appears to have a wide front axle!
