No, you don't understand, driving in snow is FUN!!!! (especially without chains)

And so is skiing! (snow skiing)

Already been to QLD. Was good, but not much 4WDing.

    (bait cast...)

    GULP !

You've been to Qld have you ?
I suppose you think that one trip to Brissie constitues seeing Qld ?
Or that just because you didn't get off the beaten track, that there are no unbeaten tracks to drive?...

Been to QLD twice, in fact, for personal reasons.

    http://www.gpsvehiclenavigation.com/RMP/br...ribieisland.php

is pretty much the extent of my 4WDing up there. Oh and Fraser Island in a Zook on another occasion, in fact the day after the little boy was taken by a dingo; I refused to be inteviewed by the film crew that landed on the beach in a helicopter.

I hear that LC Mountain Park is the only place to go?

I'm lucky I live in Melbourne, 4WD mecca of the world!!!!

    Nice article on Bribie.

There are heaps of other places to go, not just LC Mountain Park. I'm not disputing however that there may be many good places in your part of the world too....

Yeah, Journos can be a real pain in the arse at times like those....

P.S. Double posting is cheating to increase your post count.

It's *already* snowed up in the High Country. Next month we're skiing and running a snow day trip. It's good fun. That's the great thing about Melbourne (well, one of them), the variety. Within a day's drive of where I am now I have lush forests, snow, sand, and the Outback.
