    My Maxxis have arrived

Just went down to drop of my rims to have my new set of 255/85/16 Bighorns fitted up tomorrow, I was like a kid at a candy store. They seem to have plenty of meat on them a quite wide spacing between the lugs to, alot more than my BF muddies. They also had a set of maxxis Trepadore sitting next to them they weren't as meaty as i thought they would be. Anyways i'll pick them up tomorrow and i might even make a quick trip to toolangi before i go back to work on Thurs to see how they performe. I now have almost an extra two inches clearance under my diff now, ruts here I come....

Is it the size or the construction or the tread pattern that makes them so dear?
My 235/85/16 Maxxis 751 Bravo AT set only cost $175 each at Easter this year.

Which model/style tyres did you get and why? I'm investigating different tyre options right now cos I'm in the market for a new set
