Essentially it's advertised at twice it's value.

So I asked the turbo-builder in the UK who made the hybrid turbo for my work car (still not fitted) if he could confirm details on the 466409 Garrett which is the factory 4BD2T wastegated turbo.

He confirmed a 54.3mm compressor wheel. I've also asked him about potential for fitting bigger compressor wheels and covers in easily. He's having a look.
Because it's a T25/T28 core you can fit up to 60mm wheels straight up, but finding a matching cover could be easier/cheaper than machining it out to fit.

I'm thinking this turbo in stock form is good for up to 20psi anyway. But with a bigger compressor wheel it'll produce more boost sooner and when paired with an intercooler should be plenty to max out a non-turbo boost pump.
It's also a bolt-on to the manifold.

Sorry "GT" series have journal bearings unless there is an "R" (roller bearing) suffix in the model number.

AFAIK GT was used to distinguish the technology upgrade from the old T range. There is a newer GTX range now with better compressor wheels, etc.

Garrett 700716 turbo. Fits Isuzu 4HE1:

GT2560 which has the same turbine shaft as the wastegated Isuzu 4BD1T/4BD2T turbo. You could either make an adapter plate or see if it will indeed plug into the T3 wastegated turbine housing.

A simple plate adaper looks like it'll work to adapt the 4HE1 turbo to the T3 4BD1/4BD2 turbo manifold. It all depends on being able to replace studs in the 4HE1 with bolts though.



It is 16mm plate, surfaced down to 15mm or thereabouts.
You need to use M10 cap-screws for clearance to attach the adapter to the manifold. Lose the manifold studs.

I haven't got the time to create a drawing right now. But it's pretty self-explanatory. Make a cardboard template of the T3 flange and another of the 4HE1 turbo, line the ports up so the edge between the widest bolts on the 4HE1 is against the edge of the T3 port. You can see these two outlines through the solid model and how they line up.
At this point all the holes will clear as shown, make a nice outline, gas-cut the plate out inside and out.
Counterbore the holes for the cap screws, 10mm deep, 18mm diameter.
Tap the holes for the 4HE1 Studs/bolts M10.
Finish off the bore with a die-grinder to get a nice transition between the T3 ad 4HE1 ports.

This adapter is symmetrical and can be rotated to fit the 4HE1 turbo either in the stock 4BD1/4BD2 location or reversed with the compressor towards the front of the engine. I haven't checked any clearances except adapter to manifold.
