I just bought one of these. I was wondering if anyone has any experience fitting these to P38s, and if there was any great advice about where to mount and what to look out for?
Secondly, I wish to install an additional cig lighter socket under the bonnet to power the shower pump - where is the best point on the fuse box or battery to source power from? anyone done this and got pics?
Thanks for any info!

Thanks Ron. Sorry to be dim, but did you source power for that rail of fuses straight from the battery, or from some clever place on the fusebox that is controlled by the ignition switch?
I am secretly hoping (with all the talk of P38s overheating), that the big heat exchanger will act as an additional small radiator when Brisbane is at its warmest
PS: I had a XJR13 too, nice bike!
Dont forget to get a set of O rings if you touch those pipes!
Hey, looks like this thread isn't finish. We need photos and infos about the install?![]()
Thanks Glen. What brand of heat exchanger was it?
Also, still awaiting pix of your XJR1300!

Sorry, I am leaving details out everywhere!
It is a Helton heat exchanger: Helton camping hot water system
I will post some pics of the XJR tonight.
