    Any Idea What This Was

    Any idea what this was.

There is a resemblance to a 101 but looks too long in the wheelbase.

Can't see the Bay from work, but could it be a Pinzgauer? (A Haflinger on steroids)

    Recovery for what?
Not a 101 or Pinzgauer, wheels all wrong.
    Inter? C1?

Looks to me like one of the Centurion bodied Bedfords that Bill Kings Red Centre Tours used to run Palm Valley tours from Alice Springs in the 1980s. They were built on a MJR Bedford with a 330 engine. Later they were repowered with Izuzu 6BD1s

I wouldn't like to take a bet on Mk3 or Mk4 but it has to be one of them.

The name on the body just about says it all. Bulldust!

They've taken a vehicle with excellent off road abilities and turned it into something that it will never do all that well.
