Thanks all for the advice. The apportioning valve is working so the brakes are mostly good now. I need a run to bed in the disk brakes, lock out the apportioning valve so I can check the rear drums are adjusted right but otherwise I'm happy with them now.
Some general shots of the tray on yesterday, it looks like a dune buggy atm. I had made new mounting rubbers for the tray out of 9x50mm strip. Unfortunately, these are two wide compared to the 5ish mm original mounts. This means some of the side mount bolts (which I hadn't considered when making the rubbers) dont line up. I've source some rubber in the mean time to start making new ones once its back from the exhaust shop.
