That was then - this is now.

The 101 is a real pain in the arse when you have to manoeuvre back and forth - wheel lock to wheel lock - my shoulders feel it. As I said from your description above I doubt a 101 is suitable for your missus to use - ok when cruising the highway but not close quarters stuff.

    Your choice of course.

Good thought. Faraday is only 70KM from my place - if the OP can wait a few weeks, I'll happily run mine up there for them to test drive and look over. 👍😊

I was going to offer mine but because it’s an Ambulance, auto, engine, etc - it’s not a good “normal” example...

Yeah, probably not the best to test drive yours - they'll get the impression they can accelerate up hills and sit on 100 after driving yours. 😁

    Never mind.

Hey, I reckon I know a fellow who will happily put a normal 101 in your shed so you can look at it.

    Thanks Guys,

Does it help if I mention I'm with 5km or less of a few wineries? :-)

Theres historical buildings, old quaries and stuff too - but mostly the wineries.

Would love a coil sprung TDi 101 for camping. Who has one I can have?
