Looking at the REMLR.com website (look under ARN - Army registration numbers - listed by Chassis Numbers), the vehicle is not ex Aust Army and is also not listed in the "imported" list lower on the page.

So you vehicle is either a private import from the UK or one of the 101s that were brought in from Brunei quite a few years ago.

You should have a plate in the passenger wheel well - that lists all the original numbers.

The plates are not there unfortunately, looks like they have been removed for painting and not put back. Cant find them in the boxes of stuff either.

I believe there is a site in the Uk which is sort of the equivalent of REMLR - I think it is EMLR but not sure. If you joined it with the chassis number you have you should be able to get information on your vehicle - not sure though.

Hopefully some one who knows will come along and point you in the right direction.

Yep. The Army VRM.
I suspect it's a UK unit.
Delivered to the Army January 1977. Struck off BCA TEWKESBURY 26/03/1985.

Tight fit it certainly is, the LH manifold is all but touching the chassis rail, the RH has an inch or so. I might have to mess around with the mounts and lift it a tad to stop it knocking.
