Mine just arrived. It's a great book. Loads of info on the early development too.
I particularly liked the photo on page 27.![]()
My book just arrived.
Mine gets a mention on page 90 - as one of 43 vehicles transferred from the Army to the RAF.
Many hours of great reading ahead.
Yep, I like the pics on page 124 Mick.

I was going to post something similar Simon, but then I realised mine may be in a smaller group that gets mentioned - has a Nokken winch fitted. I just need to try and figure out how to know if it had one from new.
Just for the record dept... since REMLR is mentioned, JT is our patron. We chatted in 98 (which was hard work as our faces were frozen -not saying Cooma was cold, but it was the first time I'd seen blow flies crashing because of ice build up on their wings).
Our Patron -REMLR
Wayyy back a 101 owner wrote to REMLR, the very first letter to REMLR ever.
Back then we had an entry in the club section of Just 4WD magazine -or one of those sales mags- and in his letter he's asking for a valuation letter that was official looking to put with his assets for A. bank loan bolster, and B. insurance.
He sent a couple of photos. He was a new migrant from UK and brought over his dearly beloved (the 101) with him, there was a provision in place then that wasn't too much to pay (import tax?)
I had already setup a PO Box for REMLR and then all of a sudden, because of this MOD 101, I had to come up with a letterhead and sort out a logo sort of thing... the first REMLR tac.
