    Talking new truck needs tyres

    Hi All,
one of the first and most obvious things that need doing on the new toy is a set of tyres (among mannnny other things).... So....Can you please throw your many opinions at me about a good tyre/wheel choice. I like to go big where I can, and am running 35" Mickey Thompsons on my perentie.....I do lots of beach work and a bit off road in the mud...but probably do just as much on road as well, so looking for something that is a good all-rounder, but also looks the business.....(mmmmmshiney new wheels maybe.....) Thanks for your comments in advance...I have had a look at the multiple threads, but hoping to get the good oil all in one place....

Check out the tyre thread, so much info in that thread.
If you want modern tyres you will have to widen the wheels to take them.
Welcome to 101 land rover ownership.
I suggest you read back though all the old posts too.
Much to be learnt and many different ideas.
