Same as all other Factory fit options (asides Wolf rims) as far as I'm aware?

My friend and I have Yellow Sea 255/100 r16's on our 101's. I've started importing them into the UK and listed them on the UK Ebay site. All seems good so far although the tyre fitters hate them as the bead is tougher than the Michelin. Let me know if I can help? Steve

They're the XZL copies right? What sort of price are they going for?

From the correspondence from the various truck tyre joints there's more interest around for this size tyre now so more places are looking at whats around and willing to try different options.

I still haven't bought tyres since the 101 was never going to be ready for the wedding so saving up to buy them outright rather than put them on credit.

I have had a quote off John Craddocks for a set of 5 16x8" 101 rims and cooper 315/75 Stt`s. they are going to work out at approx. $3000 including sea freight to fremantle, duty gst etc, which given the price of any other tyre options seems pretty good.

Has anybody had experience with the craddock rims?

    Cheers

We have recently returned from Corowa with the 900x16's we eventually bought of Dean @ Allora. We did 3,400 kms round trip. We can actually talk in the 101 now, all the road noise we had with the Silverstones has gone and the vibration. We will see how they wear, but very happy with the Jetstones and price.

    16x8 from Craddocks

    Hi,
a couple of years ago I imported six 16 x 8 rims from Craddocks for my 101 camper and fitted Maxxis 315/75/16 muddies and they were great. The rims were not expensive to buy but cost me heaps getting through customs--in fact a rip off. Only thing with the rims is they have a very pronounced outer edge rim where you normally attach the weights which did challenge my tyre fitters.
I had tried to get my standard rims widened but various wheel places would not do it.

Why would you be buying tyres like that from the UK - there are plenty of brands available in that size for good pricing here.
