Hi Gary,
Good to see the pics up on the site.
You will need to look at an LPG conversion - I hear that with the WA rebates it is almost free over there.
Twin tanks in the waist area inside would be the go.
Cheers
Garry

Phoenix will want the serial number.
As it is a private import and not ex aust army.
It might pay to talk to the English 101 guys and trace its service history.
Dodge if if you find a couple of bullet holes in it ,it could be ex Falklands Island or Iraq service .......

G day all. definately will be going on gas. ive had a few rangies on gas and they didnt seem to go to bad. they are a dime a dozen over hear so will buy one rip the goodies off. was thinking of mounting a big one where the fuel tank is and fitting a fuel tank under the rear. any thoughts are welcome.

G day phoenix. the ambo is the series 2/3 ambo that i recovered with tommy k. its on stands in the driveway waiting for me to bolt the motor in. gary
If you mean in his avatar, that looks like the hack-job 2A bloodbox body on a Series 3 GS that TommyK bought. I seem to remember him saying that Dodge had helped him out with the recovery.
EDIT - Opened reply window and got distracted - Gary beat me to it!

The 101 I have seen recently at Nowra ( Misguided two) which I think was formerly slugbaits 101 had a gas tank where the petrol used to be and a petrol tank fitted above the diff.
The exhaust system was reworked to to fit though a cut away on the petrol tank.
It is fitted with a impco mixer just two one side of the bell-housing and fitted in without chopping the rear floor / gearbox plate.
It also had a second gas tank in the cargo area giving 170 lt gas capacity.
The best idea I had seen on the vehicle was the gas filler fitting being very nicely place above the original petrol cap inside the cut away for it pointing downwards at 45 degrees.
The new owner was unaware the petrol / gas tanks were non standard fittings.
G day mudskull.
It was ron who put me one to it. had been keeping an eye out for a while but they are few and far between at the best of times. im more than happy with its condition. just have to wait now. any pics of yours available ?. cheers gary
