Rust free mini? Yes please.
Just the odd one that's not!So, Im seeing a 40' box headed this way with 6 flat pack tatty 101's, and we'll go out and find some rust free (or with less rust at least) Series LR's, Mini's and perhaps a few older Holdens etc.... and load them up and send the same box back!!

There's rust free everything's over here - as Sitec said - send us a cheap 101 and we'll send back a rust free something.
How about this beauty
Just been sold by a fellow member - to make room for..... Yep, you guessed it - a 101.
Not sure what you would pay over there for a pristine, fully restored, rust free example like this?
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
I suspect a lot. You should see what early ones are fetching, vans and pickups even worse at a couple of grand for a rotten project.
MkI and Mk II Escorts are also good money.
How much 101 would I get for a Mini?

So, this thread has been quiet for a while now... I was thinking.. Has anyone started to compile a list of known 101's in Australia....? There's a few now!!

Ha ha. What are you getting at Simon???No-one bought any 101's recently? Maybe they're too high priced, not on the open market, no interest in them ... or maybe the people that have them can't bear to part with them? I know it's been a very tough decision for the seller of the one I'm picking up.
Yes, the rumours are true and I have paid a deposit on a 101. I'm flying to Melbourne to meet a couple of 101 owners (Gav and Mick) that will give my brother and I a lift for a couple of hours further South-East for me to collect my new pride and joy.
I have access to plenty of photo's from the current owner but I wanted to wait until I have my very own photo of "my" 101 with me in it. At the moment I could really only post a photo of 10% of the 101 as that's all I own at the moment until Friday
. After that, you can expect a few photos for the next few years
.
Well, I was not thinkin like that, but... you'll b on the list now! I know of 5 in SA, so thinkin I might start a list and anyone can add to it! No idea where to start tho!

Maybe get an admin to lock this thread and start a "MkII" version of "AULRO 101's register". Then just add the names to the list on the first post as each member posts with the compulsory picture of their 101
. Alternatively GaryCol could update the first post list on this thread, but it might be tricky getting confirmation of some on the list - ie no-one seems to have heard of Dodge for quite a while (he must have lived near me but I've never seen a 101 around here) so no idea if he still has one
.
Another option would be to start a list off-line like the WA Aulroian group do. This has the benefit of including phone numbers and locations if help is needed more urgently than a post on AULRO can be helpful for, but doesn't include photo's that everyone can look at. Also means that only those that are comfortable with giving out that information get to access the list. I don't know how or where it's managed, other than one member looks after it for all.
Definitely a good idea to have an updated list, with photo's, of current 101 owners in AULRO.
