So, you didn't get my PM.
I'm limited to weekend trips for the foreseeable future. At least, until they sack me again. Speaking of which, I was chatting to the fellow that sacked me. He welcomed me back.
Thought I'd better chat with him. I wouldn't want to do his job. He does the firing under his boss' direction and his boss does the hiring.

As you may or may not know, the 101 had a minor indiscretion on the way back from the display. The fuel pump stopped working. That is now fixed.
Another thing it is doing is throwing out coolant. I have a cooling system pressure tester so I'll be testing if the cooling system has any leaks.
On the subject of coolant: http://www.aulro.com/afvb/101-forwar...heir-101s.html
Well, I bought a new radiator cap for a Range Rover, topped up the coolant with Tectaloy 60 and ran the 101.
Coolant was still being thrown out.
I compared the old cap to the new one. It's the same. I measured the depth of the seal on the cap, 19mm. I measured the depth of the neck on the radiator, 20mm.
I think that may be my problem.
I got one of the stainless steel radiator caps for the Merc and measured it, 22mm. I'll see how that goes.
In the mean time, I'm waiting for the cooling system to cool. I had the pressure tester on the hot radiator. At 15psi it dropped 1psi in ten minutes. That may be just due to the cooling system cooling down. I'll check it again later today.
I have been learning things.
One of your 101s is a well known Ex Sydney one..........and a proven Cowora veteran.......should be no problem you getting there.
You have got the disease very bad.
I can see why Mick has had fuel pump problems as that 101 has always had a dodgy fuel pump - maybe it was still running my in line pump that went in 4 years ago.
