    New boots are on!

    Well, the new wheels arrived..., so this morning was spent fitting them. Not too big, decent footprint and an extra 8km an hr!

    Nothing noticeable, as they're not much bigger in the diameter. When I get into the build I'll be looking for an overdrive gearbox as it could do with an extra 25kmh.. something I can't achieve with tyres.

    A small relocation job for work.. This cabin has to be got deep into some remote property on a camp ground.. Time to play 4x4 next weekend!

    So yesterday avo was spent positioning a container and cabin.. After we were done I thought I'd see how far up a neighbouring 45deg hill the truck would actually go.. I wasn't game enough to try and get out, but with everything locked and tyres at road pressure I went 100 yards up a 40 deg slope! I'll be there next weekend at a motorbike event, so will get someone to take a few pics as I try to get to the top! Its one thing doing it in a 101.. Its even worse in a 12 tonner!!
