Thread: how many svx's are there

To the best of knowledge,

1800 world wide.

82 were sent Australia.

Each country numbers theirs from No1 onwards.

Australian SVX's are numbered EG : AU17.

were there only 110 station wagons and 90s also what does svx stand for special vehicle xtreme

Thats what I heard as well, 82. Although 1800 world wide Isn't it only Australia that got the 110 wagon version?
I was told a long time ago that they are all sold.

even though i dont own one it would be good for all of them to be on here i know that wont happen but most of them would be good enough.by the way have you guys done a register on them yet

Mine is SVX53. South Australian dealer had one for sale a couple of weeks ago for $63 grand, lasted 3 days I think, ex demo. RAC are happy to insure them with extras at over $73 grand. I think I invested well

I bought the Adelaide one. Ended up paying $60K for it with 6000 kms on it. Happy with that! Not sure it was a demo , but who really knows. Apparently the previoous owner bought it for his weekend enjoyment , but the wife drove it during the week. She didnt quite get the Defender bug , so traded it for a free lander. So the story goes anyway. Its practically brand new , cant fault it , already added seat extenders to it and they are worth every cent ! More additions to come. SVX 37 has been very helpful on the subject of worthwile additions.
