my rock/tree sliders fitted they are ok, but retrospectivley i would not buy the ones from rovercraft they are **** quality, sturdy in themselves but the mountings are substandard in my opinion and the welds of the mounts are poor, the outside welds have snots all over them a wire brush prior to painting would have been the go.
Had i had the opportunity to look at these elite copies properly prior to buying i would have realised that they did not have the jacking points like the Elite ones do....ELITE landrover defender 110 rock sliders on eBay (end time 21-Apr-10 20:47:16 BST).... they need a bit of customiseation to fit a 130 ripped off again me thinks!

Go for the Terrafirma Tree/Rock sliders (from the UK) sold by Rovacraft in Australia. They look like they are made by ARB and match my ARB Bullbar in quality and appearance. You can view them on the Terrafirma 4wd website on their catelogue and purchase them from Rovacraft in Australia.

And if you get some steel sliders and happen to use them as a sidestep wearing work boots when its raining, be prepared to fall on your a** with arms stretched out frantically trying to grab the steering wheel

AND NO, that didnt happen to me in the middle of a busy car park with heaps of people around

(Moral of the story is to put some 3M anti slip grip tape on them, which I have since done haha)

As discussed above, Daniel (Mulgo) will custom manufacture sliders to your exact requirements. I am working with him on a custom set which is deeper (to assist midgets entering - see sep thread on grab handles !) and will have full length chequer plate.
