Hi All,
I am still sorting through some mysteries in my 86 V8 County. One of the add on switches on the dashboard starts a petrol pump going when the accessories position is on, and it is much faster than the one I hear when the normal ignition is on. There are two pumps installed, but one is on the "vapour" lines from the pollution control gear.

Any ideas what this pump does and when you would use it?
