I'd recommend that you go for the Heavy duty OEM or 130 springs-NRC9448/9449.
I've had them in three Defenders with standard rear springs and polyairs and have no complaints.
Hi all,
Have done some searching and it seems the options are-
Heavy duty OEM or 130 springs-NRC9448/9449
Kings KRFR-03HD
Also interested if anyone has triedWhite Tiger springs from Les Richmond Automotive
Other sugestions also welcome.Don't want to substantially change the ride characteristics of the vehicle
Thanks,
Mary

I have got 50mm raised height OME front springs, with standard LR shocks.
Standard rear spring and shocks with "Poly Air" bags.
It has got an ARB bull bar and a 1200lb winch.
Ride is like factory, all good. Ride height is up a bit at the front. 92.5cm from the ground to edge of the wheel arch flare, front and rear, vehicle (2008 - 110) sits flat.
x3 on the 130 springs-NRC9448/9449 also have standard rear springs with polyair bags

I have in my 110 the factory standard springs with the Delphi di Darbon shocks and work like a dream.
IMHO the standard springs on the Defe are very good, good flex and very smooth ride.
Seems the consensus is for the 130 springs.
My next question is where to obtain them and approx cost?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mary

I put the OEM HD/130 springs on my 96 Defender (I have ARB bar and a bonnet mounted spare) and they have been fine. The decision was based on research here, like you. Sorted the front end droop well & truly and I'm happy.
But having said that, my Landy mechanic and the indie service centre here wondered why I didn't just go the Kings option. Cheaper, available, and they've had no complaints. I had to order the OEM in.
