    I'll be damned if i can remember, is there much between a series3 and a defender setup you know heater matrix and blower in the engine bay

    Don't know about the defender - but the county air con / heater setup has its own post code.

    Sorry Andy, no photos - that was all done 10 odd years ago, sold and then written off by the next owner.The County was already fitted with aircon - that's why the vents were blocked off.
    The demister and floor heating don't get changed, all you do is rip out the face level vent stuff leaving a nice parcel tray (It's all there behind the plastic cover) then make a box to take the louvre vents and fit it to a cut hole in the middle of the parcel tray. Or you can just block the air holes that fed the face vents and do without it. Original setup never worked very well anyway.
    You have to re mount the aircon switch panel somewhere, I think I just fixed it to the front of the parcel shelf.
    The demisters are fed separately by other hoses, you don't change them.
