    Is yours loose yet?

Not what some of you may be thinking

You often hear about how new cars begin to loosen up after x many km's.

I am just about to tick over 20,000kms and I can genuinely feel that the motor seems to be reving out quicker and becoming loose.

So, at what stage (kms) did you feel yours become that way?

    Or are you still waiting?

Just about to hit 20k and the motor is noticably more free revving than it was
a10k - I'm inclined to think that it will be fully run in at 40k.

Mine was appreciably looser at about 20k. At 30k it's as sweet as.

It is so good to drive up hills on and off road....hills that had the 300Tdi gasping and reaching for lower ratios. The reprogrammed ECU has made a difference as well particularly at the lower revolutions.
