Thread: Defender owners - check your rear ABS sensor lines

Installed the Polyairs in the rear of the Puma today and whilst getting the springs in and out and cleaning everything I noted the ABS sensor lines for the rear wheels curve around the edge of the lower spring mount. This last section of the wiring is not covered by conduit and I notice it had a slight wear mark on the insulation. It hadn't worn through by a long way but it would eventually I'd guess.

I suspect this applies to both Td5 and Puma Defenders unless it is just the Puma and Ford skimping on 6" extra of conduit per rear wheel.

Suffice to say mine are now better protected with an extra length of conduit.
