    Defender 130 shock replacement advice

There's probably heaps of info already on this site but my situation is unique and I would appreciate comments please. I drive a 2006 103 crew cab 25000 ks a year on rough dirt roads and rarely get onto the black stuff. I rarely carry any weight in the back, its transport to work. I have already had to repair a chassis crack. I don't abuse the vehicle, but I don't treat it with kid gloves either. I'm still using all standard suspension , which seems to ride pretty well. Rear shocks were replaced at 70 000ks, I had to tell the useless land rover service agents they were stuffed!! I don't want to spend huge bucks, just buy good value shocks and springs when necessary. Thanks.

I would go for LR springs with Delphi De Carbon shocks.

These look as if they might be worth considering, especially if your pockets are not as deep as some.

Im currently giving rave reviews on the suspension stuff bits and pieces. I've personally spoken with the guy whose involved with the running of it and hes cluey in the bouncy department of vehicles.

Give their site a hit and let them know what your after and see what they do.

They dont have the best stuff, they dont have the cheapest stuff but so far with no-one really complaining about the installs of their gear that I've done IMHO they're hard to go past for Bang for your buck.

We have a 2005 130 crew cab and have just finished updating suspension with bilstein H/D shocks and King springs upfront and Full Airbag system with Dual bistein shocks for rear. We carry a slide on camper, can't give you a proper report as yet but off to the cape in "3 WEEKS" tell you when we get back.

Suspension stuff are very good, got my Koni's and Polyairs through them. Koni Raid 90's are excellent but expensive shocks.
