    Front springs

    Our 02 110 appears to be sagged in the front. We are intending getting a winch soon and that would no doubt make it worse. What is the best option for this fix. I guess it needs around 50mm. Do we go for Landrover springs or what ?

    I had the same problem with my 97 110. I ended up putting in King Springs 'raised height' (about 30mm) in the front to level out the front and account for the extra weight of the front bar etc etc. I have found no problems at all with ride and in fact it reduces body roll around corners. I got them from Rovacraft in Bayswater VIC.

    Easy to install - but my tip is to use coil spring compressors ($40 from supercheap) - makes the job about 30min less per wheel

    Smae prob here on our 02 110 with winch and bar.

    I think I read on here that the GO is to use 130 HD springs.

    Cost approx $ 140 each OE supply?

    Hey Kram , how long did it take you all up?

    The specified HD spring for the 110 is the same as the std front 130 spring and is the way to go for the 110.
    I have done this on three 110's that I have owned and have found that, apart from also adding Polyairs to the rear and decent shocks all round, there is nothing else that the 110 suspension needs.
    I usually pay less than $150 for the pair of front HD springs. I can't recall the part numbers off hand but the passenger and driver side are different.

    Aahh , so it's a pair of HD110 fronts or standard 130 fronts.

    $ 150 for the pair or $ 75 each

    If you want a little higher lift with a similar spring rate, LRA 'purple' springs are 17" free length and 220lb/in which will give a 130 with a bullbar/winch around 117mm between the bumpstops when new.
