2006 Defender 110 internal roll cage
Hi,
I'm in the process of getting an internal roll cage fitted to my Defender 110. I have a very good pipe fitter - he can make up anything, but he's not sure where and how to attach the cage, neither am I. Basically looking for some help, I'm sure someone would have done this before so any information, experiences or pictures anyone could pass on to me would be great.
Cheers,
ian

Ian,
The cage should ultimately attach to the chassis. Pretty sure the standard external / internal cage attaches to the front outriggers (where the firewall attaches to the chassis) and the rear is at the chassis. Have a search on the site and you should find a few photos.
Welcome to the forum by the way.
Cheers
Bojan

The plates are usually welded to the floor. Refer to the drawing below for full CCDA spec cage they use in current 4wd racing.
