Thread: 200tdi - Full flow or bypass heater

Does a 200tdi normally have a full flow or bypass heater?

My county has a 200tdi, and a Series3 heater that's not currently hooked up (the heater pipes on engine are just connected together with a hose).

I'm assuming I can just connect it up using a control valve in the hose, but just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to cause any issues if the engine was mean to have a full flow heater like the 300tdi in my D1.

There is a vacuum operated 4 port heater valve used on VS onward Commodores which allows full flow thru the heater hoses when the heater core is switched off. Just needs a vac valve of some sort to operate it. Saves worrying about no flow.
