Hi there. I have a Defender 130, not sure what type of Differentiaal is fitted but the thread is stripped on the drain plug. Any idea where one can purchase a good/used cover? I live in Victoria. Thanks in advance.M

Rovacraft do replacement diff pans you should be able to buy online
ARB do a heavy duty one but a bit pricey. But the fill point is a lot better.
If it's a pressed tin cover it's a Salisbury, a GKN/Rover licensed copy of a Dana 60 diff.
Any Land Rover wrecker will have them, as will any Ford F Series wrecker, (from a Dana 60 used on F250's) and older Inter's and Dodges of a certain age and Jeep J20's used Dana 60's too. (The D60 cover is a bolt on)
Or you can buy an aftermarket one like the fella's above have shown.
These are generally more robust than the pressed tin ones, and are useful when shaving the bottom of the diff to reduce the plough effect.
