RHS? Probably the fuel pressure regulator.
Hello All,
It would appear that my 2000 TD5 Dual cab has developed a nice Diesel leak above the Starter Motor on the side of the block.
Does anyone know of this happening and why???
How hard to fix and what part is required, does not apper to be much oom to move in there to change out/fix.
It does not appear to be a big leak, Yet.
Thanks
RHS? Probably the fuel pressure regulator.

Here we don't have access to most of spare parts for TD5, so we have to improvise. A year ago I had this problem, and the solution was to take it off, change the regulator valve (the round one) with a new one from Volkswagen engine (a Brazilian one). Hot a drop anymore. Cost: around AUD 18 and a few scares in my hand, besides one lost hour in my live. Itś really simple and as far as I know, VW is far ahead in quality parts compared to LR.
