There are several Australian manufacturers too if you'd like to support local industry.
Maxi Drive would've been about the first in the world to make HD steering components, they seemed to precede the Poms in just about any other HD bits by a decade or two.

I have some original Maxi Drive ones, and I'm pretty sure MR in Brisbane are manufacturing these now. 32mm OD, hollow, tapered, turned and slotted ends to accept OE clamps (or their HD ones) rather than nuts (clamps reduce the stress raiser on the tie rod incurred from where the nut butts against the end of the rod)

From the that thread I linked to above
"Mal. Leslie at S.G.Leslie & Sons, 19 Mologa Rd. West Heidelberg 3081 03 9459 2859. Mal makes these up"

I think there may be others too, try a search, most everything has been discussed, dissected and re-hashed before.

If you want taps PM Brian Hjelm on here, he has them in stock and might even know where you can buy nuts or make some up

They did mate, the fella didnt sound to keen at the start but he came around (as he should have because the original kit was incomplete) and he stole 2, 1 left and 1 right hand nuts out of a new kit and expressed posted them to me. I sent him an email thanking him afterwards.

There are several 11/16" threads commonly used on steering rods. 11/16" x 16, 18, 20, and 24 tpi, left hand and right hand. I stock taps and dies in the 16, 18, and 20 pitches. 11/16" x 24 tpi taps and dies are available to order with the exception of an 11/16" x 24 Left Hand tap. These have to be made to order and are a bit pricey..
