    Hi Pirasea, later model 300Tdi's and all from then on have EGR (Exhaust Gas Reticulation) and Cat converters. Quickest power upgrade is to blank the EGR valve on the manifold. Much better fuel economy with much less "foot" for the to get your power. Those same 300Tdi's have ECU chips to manage the EGR but not the fuel pump (to my knowledge), so they can't be "chipped" like Td5's and Pumas to give better power and fuel consumtion. Exhaust conversions seem to have possitive effects as well.

    My Puma 90 gets around 9.2l/100km combined on road and just on 10 off road.

    yep,, i can second that, prity much the only time my eco gose out the roof is on the very soft sand, but on the road, no mater how i drive it still gets about the same,

    last yr fraser trip, 90L fuel, 770km, in happy with that for beach driving
