Now I assume the two fuses in the diagram are both the 15A ones. If that is the case, is the left hand one the same position in the 4 slot fuse block

If so this would mean it is the right hand fuse (in diagram) and would be the fan side of the circuit.

I'll try and have a look further on the weekend.

if the fan fuse is the one that is blowing, then the fan may be jammed or burned out completely. This would draw more than the usual amount of current, burning out your fuse. Might be worth checking out.

That was my thought too.
