    DEFENDER CHIP UPGRADE

Has any body got there Defender chip-ed from Triumph landrover at lonsdale in Adelaide and what do they think of the chip.
Does the car blow black smoke at acceleration , How much has fuel consumption gone up or has it stayed the same.
Are they really happy with the chip-or would they change some thing if they had the chance again.any feedback would be very welcome.

    Thanks... Declan

I can't help you with info regarding that Upgrade Provider

I can suggest you investigate Tombie2's upgrade though. He is a member of this forum and a very helpful member at that.

My Defender had the ECU flashed about 40K's ago - fantastic

It does smoke a little on hard acceleration.

Smile ECU Rechip or Add-on unit like a Steinbauer?

Also in regards to this thread what do you think, is it better to have the original ECU re-flashed or would it be better to intall an aftermarket unit to the TD5?
    What are your experiences?
    Cheers
