Oil Leak How long before seal failure?
Well it seems I have a new oil leak. Oil is leaking from behind the crankshaft pulley causing the belt to squeal. Its 2004 TD5 Defender. How long do i have before the seal lets go completely. i am having it serviced when Mr Swan gives some of my hard earned back, which might take a while.
I can spin spanners but I am thinking maybe I should "pay the man" to deal with the pulley bolt.
Thanks Dave

asking how long the seal will last is like asking how long is a piece of string

If you have oil leaking past the seal, then it has already let go completely!!!!
