    Hi,
I'm a little bit puzzled by the question. Mine is a 130 cab chassis, and I just tapped into the wiring at the back of the loom near the lights.
One thing I think I did do wrong - Left and Right brake and tail lights have their own wires for each side, I joined them at the trailer plug, and the little green trailer light indicator in the dash does not work the way I think it should.
    cheers

    Dash Trailer Light

I thought the dash trailer light worked on an increased load on the turn indicator circuit? So when a trailer is connected, the load of the extra bulbs trip the current threshold, and the dash light flashed with the blinkers. I recently took the roobar from the 130 DCPU, and put in on the Puma 90. The Puma dash light now indicates the trailer is connected, and the 130 now doesn't have the dash light coming on. And all I did was cut the spliced cables to each indicator.

    Hi,
Yes that is how it should work, mine gives one flash if the trailer is connected when using the indicators, but will flash 'properly' if the Hazard lights are activated.
It may be that the trailer lights are not drawing quite enough Amps once warm.
    cheers

At the rear of the chassis is a plug that has 14 pins from memory. On the HCPU find the drivers side wiring to the tail lights, follow them back & you will find it goes into the main loom, from there trace it back to a small angle bracket that the plug sits under & you should see a plug that will just be clipped to a hole & go no-where. It will have a thick purple wire in it(Constant), Blk, red/blk, red/grn, grn/wh, & some more i cant recall.

    HTH.

    Cheers.

p.s. if you find a crashed D2 the trailer wiring will plug in directly.
