    What roof rack is that?

    Hi guys,

    If you look in:

"Markets" >>> Complete vehicles for sale >>> page 9 >>> last vehicle at bottom of page (on my machine anyway)....

you will find a blue Defender 200 tdi SW for sale. Does anyone happen to known the make of the roof rack on that vehicle, what it's made of (looks alloyish to me so rust free and light weight), if they're available in Australia and roughly what you might expect to pay one of those?

Best looking, best fitting rack I have ever seen on a Defender, should be very low drag too.

I have sent a message to the owner ("Xtreme") nearly a fortnight ago enquiring if the vehicle is still for sale and no reply.

On that subject, there are many vehicles listed on there that have sold, some quite a while back. A bit annoying that, can anything be done to improve the system so all those sold vehicles aren't clogging up the site and wasting prospective buyers time?

    cheers, Epsom.

Bit hard to say for sure, but it looks very much like the stock standard Roofrack that LR supplied to the ADF. There was a choice between an all steel version or Ally version, but both looked the same and mounted the same way.

The ADF went all steel just FYI. Reason was it could take a heavier load before bending.

Hi Gibs, Thanks for your reply. I spotted a Nissan yesterday with a virtually identical rack on it, except of course the legs were more vertical. It had the TJM logo on it, so that would seem to solve the mystery. Cheers, Epsom.

Sweet, I hope you find a LR version.

Wouldn't surprise me if LRA supplied an after market roofrack to the ADF. Cheeky buggers!
