			Interior lock button bezel?

Trying to repair rear door thats' a bit dinged up. Already broken a handful of clips/plugs securing door casing to the door. Just a bit relunctant removing the "interior lock button bezel". Rave cd says to remove, but not how to. Tryed what I thought was enough force to get it to pop. Just need someone whos' removed this before to give me the heads up, so I don't break it as well.

Also anyone know where to get the clips/plugs for securing the door card back to the door?

 TD5 Defender 2002.

 Thanks in advance,
 Tod.

I pushed the lock down and pushed a large flat blade screw driver above the lock and under the bezel. A quick upward blow with my hand on the screw driver shaft and the bezel popped off, and up into the air. They took more force than I was expecting, but I didn't break them whilst removing them which was good.

If you didnt break them you did well! i tend to break mine when removing them... but they do take some force..

On one side the actual backing peice screwed to the door broke

The broken one on the drivers side is now the only rattle (other than the engine) that i have...

I was thinking of recording a rattle soundtrack for the stereo to keep me company

					Are these the clips?
LAND ROVER DEFENDER BAG OF 10 INTERIOR DOOR TRIM CLIPS on eBay (end time 19-Sep-10 16:35:44 BST)
I got these for my '96 Defender from this guy in the UK after not being able to find them elsewhere.
I also got door lock trims from him - plus spares for the future - as I certainly broke them when removing.
A nice tip I picked up from this forum was to use small screws to give a replacement 'head' for any broken 'retaining lugs' on the door card.
