I just picked up my Mud Pod. Thing of beauty! Looks great in a D1 and far better than the twin pod I could have bought four of for the same price.

They are firm... but then i have no weight on them... and the kings are a bit firmer too.. but when she is loaded up... its getting close to being as smooth as the DII we have... very nicely damped and not fidgety..

AS for the weight... well a drawer system will be going in at some point and dual batts and everything else.. so it should help.. if not i'll replace the kings with something softer and longer...

you must of missed my post number 8....

The front bushes are fine but before you fit them file a chamfer on one outer edge on each bush. This allows them to sit in the cup better and allows you to get the bottom nut on nicely...

Something i thought of while swearing quite loudly at them...

After looking at the Raptor one that invaded the little amount of space a Defender does posses I went for the MUD console As it allows you to stash stuff also mount switches without a major invasion on air flow ...important to those with no aircon.
I am looking forward to the installation of the steel binnacle cowling to have one that does not fall aprt in your hands should be a hoot
