John keep going , I'm pleased that he found the vehicle . I've owned it for over 17 years . That's a long time , It was lovely to meet up and show him around the old girl . We exchanged story's . I am going to sell it to John , I can't think of anyone now that I could imagine deserves it more . Some time's things are meant to be . Jim

Thanks for the kind words Jim bloody well written.
Just got home after a breezy trip home in the Perentie. Thanks a lot for today and thanks for all your time. I know all Landrover owners are legends but you're up there with the best of them. I forgot to thank your daughter for the cup of tea as well if you could pass that on. It was amazing seeing the old girl today and as soon as I rolled up the familiarity was unbelievable. To the point of overwhelming! Its a credit to you that the vehicle has remained largely unchanged and kept in good nick over the last couple of decades. I had to keep reminding myself that you have more of a history with the vehicle than we had (17 yrs vs 10 yrs) so the fact that you agreed to sell it to me at such short notice and for a fair price is awesome. Can't thank you enough and can't wait to catch up when it comes time to pick her up. Just cracking a beer to celebrate!!Have you seen this County??Have you seen this County??

John and Jim, what a fantastic story!
Having recently been through the wringer to secure my old Army steed, I empathize with your hopes and fears.
So, is the plan to hook up the camper and roll into your old mans place and make him cry
    Cheers, BDave.

I'm still not sure what my plan is totally, part of it will be along these lines but with my Mum. Unfortunately during the past six years since I started this hunt my old man passed away. This was the main drive to fire the hunt up again and track CTI 060 down. Mum loved it as much as Dad did so I think she'll blow a valve when she sees it sitting where it used to be parked at the farm! The best thing is the plug for the camper trailer is right where we left it so it'll be a quick job to hook it back up!

Already checked that and i've kicked a goal there too, that combination can be re-used for that vehicle only. Because it was issued to that car it can be re-issued but only to that car. One of the many queries i've had for vicroads the last few weeks!
