    I replace all the guages in the Fender with VDO mechanical guages
    a while ago.........

    Is yours a TD5??

    If it is, how is your tachometer hooked up as im guessing thats a normal 4/6/8cyl tacho and our engines are a 5cyl.... although i hear some ecu's send out the reading as a 4cyl signal.

    No it's a 300TDI off the alternator
