It is my understanding that heat should only be a significant issue for synthetic winch rope when powering out, where extensive use of the brake may be required. For normal recovery where the rope is drawn onto the drum, braking would only occur for short periods or to hold the load, and in these situations little heat would be generated.

Would the Xrox puma bar fit a 110
Adam
Yes.
They make them for 110's.
Not sure if there is any difference between a puma bar and a 110 bar though.
Mine is a 110,and a nice easy fit at home

I've got the same bar from Rovacraft on my Puma and have fitted an Ironman 12,000lb winch which is nice and snug. I'm very happy with the set up although I had to cut the grille to run the wiring. Just two weeks after doing that I saw another defender with the same winch where the owner had mounted the control box on top of the A bar using the driving light mounts. Thus the grille didn't require cutting and the control box was out of the way so it would receive less of a dunking during water crossings. If only I'd thought of that... or seen the other defer a few weeks earlier! This bar (without the winch) was previously on my 1985 county and transferred across OK.
