    HF Radio Placement

Hi Guys. I've started looking for a home for gear I've taken out of the TD5 to put in the new TD4. The only thing that's a bit of wall is the placement of the HF radio head as the new dash configeration precludes the previous perch on top of the padded dash bar. Has anyone already found a possy for this that works well eg. mike cord doesn't hang in front of radio controls etc.

    Cheers

Thanks Max P. Yes, an obvoius option I know. It may seem like a bit of a no-brainer but I've sat in the fender for a good few hours trying to nut it out (+ all the other gear - inverter, uhf etc.) Just trying not to re-invent the wheel.

i'd also suggest the outback consoles too.. moulded plastic.. they look very good... not too pricey either..

    Thanks

The Dept of Interior ones are nice but what if your pax want to use it? I prefer radios where both the driver and the pax can use and adjust.

On mine their used to be a large radio face (pretty sure it was HF) mounted on the console between the front seats.
