Thread: '03 Defender remote fob from the UK

Well my $50 delivered lucas remote fob came today, and after a bit of a heart attack with immobiliser settings, it's working, AND the car starts with the key!
Going to order another now.
But seriously, if you have a nanocom and are mucking around with the alarm settings, do a "read" AND SAVE before you start!
I'm sure the neighbours are ready to shoot me after all the air horn noise tonight, best I lay low for a while!
Top value, factory central locking for $50!!
BTW, mine was a 433Mhz if anyone in interested (alarm unit manufactured week 41 of 2002)

or speak to the guys at linn rover in perth and they will sell you one for about that price.. it will be a used one!

One thing to make a point of that i didnt realise is that when programming the fob with a nanocom you have to keep on pressing the buttons until the horn beeps.. not like i did just one press on each and then wondering why it didnt work! duh!
