Got my truck rego'd at last yesterday and took it for our first off road trek this morning ... got the boots dusty for the first time up along Hassans Walls. Can't help but add a few more pics ... I also failed to give a basic list of running gear and specs.

    Worked P76 4.4 V8 ... Edlebrock manifold et al
    Dual Fuel LPG/Petrol
    Dual Batteries
    2" lift
    Sals diff.

Due to the new plates I may have to change the trucks name to Big D.

    Cheers, Simon.

To make pics big use Photobucket or something similar...there are plenty of photo hosting sites out there

Pic works fine as an attachment. Thats some nice articulation Serg, no doubt the set up is more than a few degrees from stock. What have you done?

    Cheers,

    Phil

    FRONT
Kings 210lb fronts +2-3 over stock at ride height (settled to about 2, its a 300tdi with steel tube winch bar and milemaker hyd winch up front)
    koni 80 series + 2 travel fronts
Haultech slotted bushes at axle. (have just replaced these with stock as they were flogged out, but put super pro at chassis end...will have to flex it to see how it compares)
    equippe longer bumpstops

    REAR
kings250lb rears +2-3 over stock ride height (settled to about +2, alloy tray that weighs bugger all, but I do tow 90% of the time....1.8t)
Koni Merc front truck shocks 12 inch travel....(not using it all because of springs and shock mounts...MUST DO THESE ASAP!!!!)
equippe longer bumpstops (still need to raise the shock mount so shock doesnt top out)

retained springs, longer brake lines, double carden front prop shaft.

I have also just fitted super pro bushes at chassis end of TA and chassis end of A frame, stock rubber at axle end of TA and MR Automotive "maxidrive" extended ball joint...

once I have done rear shock mounts I will flex and take pics to see the difference.

    cheers,
    Serg

Traybacks are for putting things on -

and still be able to get to interesting places -

so that you can camp in comfort away from the great unwashed.

    1973 Series III LWB 1983 - 2006
    1998 300 Tdi Defender Trayback 2006 - often fitted with a Trayon slide-on camper.
